The Enduro R is being considered as an affordable option for buyers who want to go off-road on a low budget, in which many changes have been made. Design and Looks: The KTM Enduro is a dashing off-road bike, specifically designed for adventure and rough terrain. Its design is sharp and aggressive, which includes long suspension travel, high ground clearance, large spoke wheels, and knob tires, which help in crossing all types of challenging roads. The bike's light and strong trellis frame gives it excellent balance and control, while the LED headlight and minimal bodywork give it a premium and adventure-ready look. KTM's signature orange and white color scheme makes it stand out from the crowd.
Features: Talking about features, the KTM 390 Enduro R will include a 4.2-inch TFT display that offers Bluetooth connectivity for music, phone calls, and turn-by-turn navigation. It will also have two riding modes: Street and Offroad. The screen will also have lane angle-based traction control, ABS status, ride statistics, or call | music control. It has ride-by-wire technology, which makes the throttle response even smoother and more accurate. Also, the 6-speed gearbox has a slipper clutch, which gives the bike more control while downshifting.

Engine or Performance: Specifically, the KTM 390 Enduro R is powered by the 399LC4C single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine. This unit is tuned to produce 43 hp of power and 39 Nm of torque at its performance peak. This engine is lighter and more powerful than the older generation and has better power and torque which comes in handy especially when off-roading.It will be mated to a 6-speed transmission to transfer the power to the rear wheel. It is worth noting that this power unit is also used in the 390 Duke, but it is tuned for off-roading and enduro-style riding.

Wheels and Suspension: In terms of suspension, the Enduro R will have upside-down forks with 230 mm of travel at the front and a monoshock setup at the rear. It will have a 285 mm front disc and a 240 mm rear disc with axial calipers. The bike will also have dual-channel ABS, with 21-inch and 18-inch spoke wheels at the front and rear, respectively.

It will have a smaller 9-liter fuel tank than the 390 Duke, which is necessary to reduce the weight by 6 kg. This will bring the weight down to 159 kg. However, keeping in mind the Enduro R name, it will have significant off-roading capabilities, including a tall stance and 272 mm of ground clearance.
Handling: The riding geometry of the Enduro R is absolutely upright--meaning a straight back that is comfortable for long rides, with a standing posture perfect for offroading.
Competitive Models: In the Indian market, it will mainly compete with bikes like the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and the BMW G 310 GS.

Price: As for the price, the 390 Adventure is priced at Rs 3,36,977, while the Adventure X is priced at Rs 2,91,140 (both prices ex-showroom, Delhi). Given what the 390 Enduro R gets, we think it will be priced around Rs 3.3 lakh (ex-showroom).
